When screening tenants, this is what we do:

- Conduct a criminal background check to verify criminal history.
- Contact previous landlords to verify if the tenant has caused any problems for their past landlords.
- Confirm employment and income levels to ensure the prospect can comfortably pay the rent. Typically, we seek tenants who make a monthly income of at least three times the monthly rent.
